Summary: Mrs. Martha Garrett and Dr. Alan Hirsh were chosen for interviews on this topic because the interviewers believed that they can give the best insight as to how the Fine Arts impact the Bishop McGuinness students and the school community. The projects in the Fine Arts department allow students to learn more about the community, environment, and the people around them. Also, our school’s annual Fine Arts Day, which takes place each May, is an important part of the Bishop McGuinness school year as it gives the opportunity for students to learn about the chosen theme for each year’s event, show their artistic skills, participate in fine arts activities, and appreciate the fine arts at Bishop McGuinness. The Fine Arts Department has always allowed for students to be able to learn about the fine arts through fun projects and fundraisers, and it is important to archive the projects that allow students to expand their creative learning capabilities.
