During the 2016-2017 school year Seniors at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School studied American Catholic history. We often went online to the archives of Catholic University in Washington, D.C. Students realized that there were many important stories here at Bishop McGuinness High School and in the Diocese of Charlotte, North Carolina that were worthy of being archived as well. So, we decided to start our own archives in order to preserve the history of the Diocese of Charlotte and of Catholicism in North Carolina. Students broke up into groups and researched topics of particular interest. They wrote to the people they wanted to interview, created questions, set up the venue, filmed, and edited their interviews. All are proud of their work and we present it here for your enjoyment and scholarship.
